Turn-Key Sales and Cleanout Services

Choosing Motley’s is choosing to work with a single professional resource that can assist you in the sale of real estate and dispersal of the contents of a home. Our staff will work with you to determine the best way to sell the personal property as well as the real estate. Motley’s professional auctioneers can conduct an on-site sale of both the house and its contents. Alternatively, we can move the personal property to our Corporate Office Gallery for inclusion in our regularly scheduled auctions or for sale on a consignment basis. The real estate can then be featured in one of our large, multi-property real estate or sold in a single property auction. As Realtors^® and auctioneers, Motley’s unique combination of capabilities allows us to offer another valuable option: listing the real estate in the traditional manner and, if not sold, then placing the property in an auction where you set your reserve price.

Appraisals and Inventories

Our appraisers are certified through the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and are available to assist with estate tax valuations, gifting strategies, tax and charitable deductions, equitable distributions of property due to death or divorce, moving insurance and damage claims. As part of your appraisal, Motley’s will produce a complete inventory of your items. We sort and label your items, photograph them and then write a complete description and attach a value to each item. Motley’s appraisers adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and produce professional, conformed documents that are accepted in multiple courts.

Estate Distribution

Motley’s can help ease the burdensome job of distributing an estate. We can value your property and then inventory, label and photograph all pieces. We can discretely monitor distribution while retaining control of the entire process. Motley’s also offers secured storage and moving and delivery supervision.
